But you are not in the flesh; you are in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you.
Roman 8:8-11
In the Spirit. In what way does God invite us to see, to feel, to act, to be if we are to live in the Spirit? To understand such a belief in the Spirit would be impossible for me. I suppose in many ways what compels me most, to write, to meditate and act on, is that I myself may grow in faith, hope and love and share with others. To grow in a way of being fully present in all things. In so that to live as God has deemed we can share such beauty in many ways. The realm of God’s love is so magnanimous and undefinable, my notions are but a grain of sand that float in the wind. Then there is grace that flows and thrusts me forward compelling me to share God’s love. It is at those times I feel the Spirit of his God’s love dwells in me.
We are humans made of flesh and bones but most crucially important is to know we are filled with the Spirit of God. He dwells within us and awaits to kindle his love deep within us. A mirror may reflect our image but it can never reveal the beauty within a soul. The deepest part of our desires that yearns to be loved and to love. It is the Spirit of God that dwells in us. The Spirit that dwells in my precious daughters, young and courageous as they live, serve and save the life of another in God’s love, as R.Nurses. Around the world the spirit dwells in those that pray, serve and sacrifice for God’s glory.
We either act on the flesh which seeks worldly needs or act on the Spirit. The Spirit seeks humility in all things and all ways. In the Spirit we set aside stones that made us falter and forgive as we allow God to pour His love into the wounds. In the Spirit we learn to love deeper regardless of the circumstance. In the Spirit we love even when it is not returned. We allow that love to flow endlessly so as to live in the Spirit of God’s love. In the Spirit we ask God to guide every moment of every breath we have because of Him. In confusion we live in the Spirit and praise God for his ways are far beyond ours. In the Spirit we seek heaven on earth and eternal life.
In the Spirit, “we pray without ceasing”. Gracious ever-loving God, although I have not the wisdom of your providence, humbly I ask that you teach us to live in the Spirit of, Jesus I trust in you in all our words and actions. Jesus, fill mankind, creatures and earth with your spirit of love and hope. Protect and guide all Nurses, Doctors and health professionals, every soul and the entire world in so that we may enjoy heaven on earth and your eternal Glory. Mother Mary pray for us. Amen.
Peace,
Claudia
